To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Serra made the kick off in the second half. Giovanni dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Silveira in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Gremio NG players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
