Ivar Eriksson took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edu Mendonça. Edu Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Andrade got free with Edu Mendonça in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertinho Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edu Mendonça. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Edu Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Eriksson in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's goalkeeper Edu Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertinho Andrade. 15 minutes into the match, Albertinho Andrade notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Edu Mendonça. Edu Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bebeto Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Eriksson in the 20th minute of play. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Edu Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Eriksson in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ivar Eriksson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Edu Mendonça. Edu Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tadeu Miranda hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Freire. After a rather tough play, Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Váldson de Brito got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Lando Norin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edu Mendonça. The goal made the score 5-0. After 34 minutes, Ivar Eriksson made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Edu Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Ivar Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edu Mendonça. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 48 minutes, Doriva Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES and the Que se abra o mar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doriva Rossi hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivar Eriksson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edu Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edu Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Eriksson went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Edu Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Andrade in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Bebeto Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Edu Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 minutes of play, Que se abra o mar's Ivar Eriksson made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edu Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Ivar Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edu Mendonça. In the 79th minute, Albertinho Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edu Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. In the 82nd minute Ivar Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Pimenta made a great header on Que se abra o mar's corner, it was just that Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Edu Mendonça managed to reach the ball for a save. Edu Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Eriksson in the 92nd minute of play. Edu Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Eriksson in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Noel Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute, Bebeto Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Que se abra o mar had played much better football throughout.
