Bezerros EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Rustam Arsenievich scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fernando Peixoto, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Azevedo in the 11th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Silvério Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Rustam Arsenievich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FLU ES fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Alex Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Rustam Arsenievich sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes Bezerros EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdomiro Teixeira who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FLU ES fc's Rustam Arsenievich getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alex Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Sergipano having to interfere. Martin Juračka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. Martin Juračka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Azevedo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Sergipano saved FLU ES fc from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Azevedo in the 59th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FLU ES fc getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Martin Juračka hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerros EC's zone, Martin Juračka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Peixoto came out of the goal and Martin Juračka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Luiz Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezerros EC. Luiz Fernando Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rustam Arsenievich in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FLU ES fc's zone, Hélder Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Sergipano came out of the goal and Hélder Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Clóvis Camargo hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Eusébio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, one of FLU ES fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FLU ES fc. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Bezerros EC's Dieguinho Cosme got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pedro Luiz Sergipano. If Martin Juračka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Azevedo. In the 96th minute, FLU ES fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hélder Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FLU ES fc fully deserved thier win.
