Aloísio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eşref Ertüze in the 4th minute of the match. Jardel de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sidnei Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Matheus Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luís Viana in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Coelho saved Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES from getting behind. Sidnei Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. E.C Stadander City 1965 were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nelsinho Carioca took the corner. After taking down the ball on E.C Stadander City 1965's corner Nelsinho Carioca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sidnei Coelho quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Matheus Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidnei Coelho. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aloísio Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Miranda in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, E.C Stadander City 1965's goal looked a bit too open when Eşref Ertüze came free, but Aloísio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Sidnei Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Félix in the 26th minute of play. Aloísio Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Ertüze, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Romário Ceresso hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes E.C Stadander City 1965 got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Coutinho. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Miranda. In the 52nd minute, Jerry Nolan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luís Vianas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Sidnei Coelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Sidnei Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidnei Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Jardel de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Coelho. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 71stth minute of the game Jerry Nolan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C Stadander City 1965's Aloísio Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aloísio Perez came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's Eşref Ertüze. But to his dismay, Eşref Ertüze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eşref Ertüze in the 80th minute. Aloísio Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eşref Ertüze went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Peres got free with Sidnei Coelho in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei Coelho was a little too slow when Jardel de Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Pedro Luís Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sidnei Coelho made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded E.C Stadander City 1965 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES.
