Kléber Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Silva came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes Bezerros EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Cruz who took care of the corner kick. Mauro Ihintza was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 8 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Félix came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Bezerros EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Cruz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Ihintza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fernando Peixoto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hélder Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Ihintza in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Vinícius Servaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Diamante Negro DK - VV got a corner. Bezerros EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Servaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 28th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Inácio Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinícius Servaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bezerros EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamante Negro DK - VV's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 45th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Servaes took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Luiz Fernando Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Diamante Negro DK - VV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinícius Servaes made a kick off. Hélder Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rogério Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alex Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Fernando Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Servaes's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Vinícius Servaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Servaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Frederico Pontes replaced Mauro Ihintza. Willian Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinícius Servaes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Luiz Fernando Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro DK - VV. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Servaes got free with Luiz Fernando Peixoto in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Vinícius Servaes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto. Luiz Fernando Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
