In the 7th minute Denílson Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Adelino Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lucca F.C and the C.A Gryffindor players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Montenegro in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Mattos saved Lucca F.C from getting behind. C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro managed to work through Lucca F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Brian Montenegro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 13th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Brian Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarcisio Mattos. Lucca F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 20th minute of the game Natanael Fernandez made a throw-in which Zula Kaider played forward. A hard shot 25 in the game by Brian Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Tarcisio Mattos managed to make a qualified save. Lucca F.C's players were relieved. 29 minutes into the match, Lucca F.C's goalkeeper Tarcisio Mattos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Lopes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 31st minute of play forced Lucca F.C's goalkeeper Tarcisio Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Fernandez made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zula Kaider immediately put the ball in play. Natanael Fernandez's late challenge caught a C.A Gryffindor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Lucca F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Bill Bill hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Adelino Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Corinth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Passos lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Lucca F.C booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Zula Kaider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucca F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zula Kaider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Lucca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Letsch. Natanael Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. C.A Gryffindor's Denílson Lopes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natanael Fernandez, made in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Bill in the 72nd minute of play forced Lucca F.C's goalkeeper Tarcisio Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcisio Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedillo Quijano in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Brian Montenegro hit a great ball. C.A Gryffindor's Marcelinho Leme was substituted for Bill Bill. C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira was substituted for Denílson Lopes. After 79 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Brian Montenegro. Lucca F.C's Alessandro Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Dennis Bergkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A Gryffindor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
