Marcelinho Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Brian Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Brian Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Rocha was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes Jr Familia Campos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Baiano. In the 20thth minute of the game Brian Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Brian Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the C.A Gryffindor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Montenegro couldn't finish the play. C.A Gryffindor's Tomé de Alcântara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adhemar Quadros, made in the 25th minute of the game. Marcelinho Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Montenegro in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Prattis to maneuver through the defense. When Aldo Santini came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Jr Familia Campos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Santini couldn't finish the play. C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Gryffindor from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes of play, C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.A Gryffindor's attentive Bill Bill managed to snatch the ball when Adhemar Quadros made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Tomé de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Crespo was the one to do the kick off. Leo Crespo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cássio Corinth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 67th minute of play forced Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Crespo in the 74th minute of the match. C.A Gryffindor's Marcelinho Leme was substituted for Bill Bill. Jr Familia Campos FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after C.A Gryffindor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romário Maranhense took the corner. The corner ended in Romário Maranhense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 78th minute of play forced Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dennis Bergkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Rocha made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Adhemar Quadros in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's Marcelinho Leme. After 91 minutes Jr Familia Campos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vedillo Quijano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vedillo Quijano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha did a great save. Adhemar Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
