The crowd rose to their feet as Adelino Domingues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dinei Pinheiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Lucca F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Tarcisio Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Domingues came free, but Dinei Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Leif Törnqvist. In the 27th minute of the match, Adelino Domingues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dinei Pinheiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tarcisio Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niilo Mikkola's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes Lucca F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niilo Mikkola who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vânderson de Moraes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lucca F.C's Tarcisio Mattos did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Domingues in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 35th minute of play forced Lucca F.C's goalkeeper Tarcisio Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lucca F.C's Faustão Cosme got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Lucca F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Montenegro came free, but Tarcisio Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vânderson Linhares during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Terra in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcisio Mattos saved Lucca F.C from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niilo Mikkola got free with Tarcisio Mattos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinei Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adelino Domingues's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Rudy Letsch hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Leif Törnqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SeleSantos FC's Jacobo Casado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tarcisio Mattos. That made the score 1-2 after 76 minutes of play. Daniel Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Niilo Mikkola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tarcisio Mattos made a huge save. SeleSantos FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Lucca F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niilo Mikkola took the corner. The corner ended in Niilo Mikkola almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lucca F.C's Tarcisio Mattos did a great save. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Daniel Montenegro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tarcisio Mattos. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Cardoso in the 86th minute of play. Leif Törnqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tarcisio Mattos came out and tried to block the shot, but Leif Törnqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 91st minute. SeleSantos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
