Stellan Artois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislav Lomnický having to interfere. Leonides Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Kasarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Stellan Artois's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislav Lomnický read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Artois in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Lomnický prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Kasarda in the 14th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Gilabert came free, but Ladislav Lomnický reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavol Rybnický sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Mar del from getting a goal against them. Stellan Artois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ladislav Lomnický tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislav Lomnický took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Stellan Artois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jorge Ordono fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Mar del's protests and gave Jorge Ordono a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, one of San Lorenzo de Mar del:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Lorenzo de Mar del. The goalkeeper, Leonides Medardo, was totally fooled by UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ľubomír Smatana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Gilabert got free with Ladislav Lomnický in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute Stellan Artois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Lomnický saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Medardo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Pivnica's Pavol Rybnický. But to his dismay, Pavol Rybnický quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ľubomír Smatana managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Pivnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Ľubomír Smatana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Medardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Viktor Kasarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Záruba came free, but Leonides Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický got control of the ball when Saturnino Gilabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Smatana in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Stanislav Záruba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Medardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Leonides Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Záruba in the 85th minute of the match. Leonides Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Smatana in the 86th minute of play. When UFC Pivnica's Ľubomír Smatana in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Rybnický came free, but Leonides Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UFC Pivnica had played much better football throughout.
