Isaias Matas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaias Matas in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vítor Baia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaias Matas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vítor Baia. That made the score 1-2 in the 17 minute of play. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Guido Vissenaeken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Vissenaeken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Hendrickx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dacian Hrean during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Tombuer in the 98th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
