In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Haithabu FC were awarded a corner. Conrad Vrolijcx went to the cornerflag to take it. KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the Haithabu FC defense, Mathijs Rokeloos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Söderström. The Haithabu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Söderström should have stopped the shot. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Van Eyken, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Söderström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on KFC Cromvelde's corner Matthias Wauters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Söderström quite easily take care of the ball. Önder Kaçan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jean-Louis Van Bever made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remy Van Eyken to strike the kick off in the second half. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Henry Åkesson made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Söderström. Haithabu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. KFC Cromvelde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
