With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frances Jaraba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SABALEPLUS's Roman Su played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Morales in the 19th minute of play. FCSB CUENCA's Frances Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Santo in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, FCSB CUENCA's Desiderio Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Su made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Dale Colon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 37th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcio Carreira to maneuver through the defense. Frances Jaraba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Santo went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The FCSB CUENCA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SABALEPLUS were winning 1-2.

But to his dismay, Saba Lerø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Iratze during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dalmacio Iratze hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Fernan Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
