Cristian Mergildo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Attilio Casciano sent off a good shot on target. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Casciano in the 17th minute of play. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levente Végh in the 18th minute of the match. Martin Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Miran Moco got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Adamantios Geronimidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Leheren was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adamantios Geronimidis made a kick off. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Luz y Fuerza from getting a goal against them. Attilio Casciano scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Mergildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Casciano in the 59th minute of play. C.A. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Casciano in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Casciano came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zheng Chen Kang hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Levente Végh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. LANUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levente Végh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miran Moco in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Attilio Casciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cristian Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Casciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Leheren made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Levente Végh sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Cristian Mergildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the C.A. LANUS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Luz y Fuerza.
