Adamantios Geronimidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mira Pene could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oktay Eğriöz in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute of the game Remigio Bartoli made a throw-in which Elvis Crespo played forward. 23 minutes into the match, Oktay Eğriöz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo. Cristian Mergildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adamantios Geronimidis to make the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paso FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
