In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Torn's goalkeeper Hjalmar Viberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Umberto Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Viberg. Al-Torn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Staffan Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hjalmar Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Rosado in the 13th minute of play. Simão da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Viberg having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Rune Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Umberto Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Viberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Alves in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Petter Påk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Torn's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Påk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Alves in the 29th minute of play forced Al-Torn's goalkeeper Hjalmar Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Real Brasil F.C.'s Umberto Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hjalmar Viberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hjalmar Viberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Alves in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Ingemar Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Torn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Ryberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Hjalmar Viberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Alves in the 51st minute. Umberto Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denílson Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hjalmar Viberg. Al-Torn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Rosado was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasil F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Real Brasil F.C.'s Umberto Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Brasil F.C.'s Umberto Alves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hjalmar Viberg. That made the score 0-3 after 86 minutes of play.
