Canastro FC's João Pedro Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Pedro Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Viberg having to interfere. João Pedro Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Zbyszko Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Canastro FC's Zbyszko Cupial made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hjalmar Viberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro Silva got free with Hjalmar Viberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute of the match Canastro FC got a corner. Al-Torn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valter Abreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hjalmar Viberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Nogueira in the 66th minute. When Zbyszko Cupial came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Canastro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Cupial couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Brandt got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ingemar Ryberg. The throw-in from Karl-Erik Brandt in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canastro FC's Marquinhos Nogueira. Staffan Nyberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hjalmar Viberg having to make a save. Al-Torn's Hjalmar Viberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Al-Torn from getting a goal against them. Zbyszko Cupial scored 0-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hjalmar Viberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 90 minutes, João Pedro Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canastro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Al-Torn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Viberg made a huge save.
