Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Leonardo Loco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Sixto Bitxintxo made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Loco. Atlético Matorrales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Quilino came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When John James was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. 32 minutes into the game, Lukáš Katačić lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Leonardo Loco. 35 minutes into the match, Lukáš Katačić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Loco. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Quilino in the 53rd minute of play. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Lekubegi scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ebardo in the 88th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Luis Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
