In the 15th minute of the match, Filomeno Jon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermengol Baena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fermin Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quirce Lamas in the 19th minute of play. Fermin Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quirce Lamas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermengol Baena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Inautzi in the 25th minute. With a little luck, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena got control of the ball when Joaquin Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Basajaun came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Quirce Lamas. But to his dismay, Quirce Lamas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Rocio Rusoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Hernan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Hernan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Moises Hernan hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Diego Shepherd came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Rocio Rusoto. After the first half ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, Gombal Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Diego Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Jon scored 1-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermengol Baena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Jon in the 90th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Torres took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermengol Baena. Ermengol Baena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Leopoldo Loco fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CeciForEver's protests and gave Leopoldo Loco a yellow card for diving instead.
