Baldomero Innocenzio came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Igon could save by the left post. Jose Ubendu's late challenge caught a Campeones del Mundo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Ubendu helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Ubendu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Daniel Igon made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Baldomero Innocenzio sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of A.A. Cachila booed when Campeones del Mundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Gaston Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Campeones del Mundo booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Lauaxeta in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Estevon saved A.A. Cachila from getting behind. Prudencio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Bihar to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Bide took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prudencio Estevon. A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campeones del Mundo's Feliciano Gorbea got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Miguel Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Cachila's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd minute, one of Campeones del Mundo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Campeones del Mundo. Campeones del Mundo's Zacarias Lauaxeta got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.A. Cachila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Zacarias Lauaxeta scored to the left of an out of position Prudencio Estevon, making the score, 2-2. In the 64th minute, Placido Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Bautista came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Miguel Bautista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon did a great save. After 68 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Lucila. In the 72nd minute Zacarias Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.A. Cachila's Prudencio Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ubendu in the 76th minute of play. Jonatan Ubendu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Prudencio Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Lucila in the 81st minute of play. Christian Cutberto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campeones del Mundo! With a little luck, A.A. Cachila's Prudencio Estevon got control of the ball when Eusebio Afonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Abaurre took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Igon. Daniel Igon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Campeones del Mundo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
