The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Bras to maneuver through the defense. Elite Azulgrana's Jairo Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Remicio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaston Gomez firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Isaias Orzaize fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s protests and gave Isaias Orzaize a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Isaias Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Flores came free, but Everardo Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Santiago Flores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Everardo Iaki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Flores in the 23rd minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Everardo Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Flores hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Lángara came free, but Everardo Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Elite Azulgrana were awarded a corner. Santiago Flores went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Flores got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Iaki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Natalio Lekubegi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 42nd play minute Isaias Orzaize came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Gomez. 1-1. Everardo Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Orzaize was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 50th minute by Jairo Rosario got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Natalio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Santiago Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Iaki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Lekubegi in the 65th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Bartolo Bernebe to score against Everardo Iaki in Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal. 1-2 after 67 minutes. The supporters of Elite Azulgrana booed when Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Bras kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Elite Azulgrana getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jaime Casomiro hit a great ball. Santiago Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Everardo Iaki made a huge save. Natalio Lekubegi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Iaki came out and tried to block the shot, but Natalio Lekubegi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute, Natalio Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes in the game, Natalio Lekubegi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Everardo Iaki having to interfere. Santiago Flores succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elite Azulgrana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
