Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Paul Nappa in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Gurzău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph Sladden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iacob Vâlcu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Dacian Gurzău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Sapiano in the 19th minute of the match. If Iacob Vâlcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Facciol hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bodea AS's Tudor Aldulescu tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Sliema Youngsters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Falzon to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Tudor Aldulescu in the 30th minute of play was well struck, but Joseph Sladden made a really good save at the right post. After some careless play in the Bodea AS defense, Jean Paul Nappa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Gurzău. The Bodea AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Gurzău should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bodea AS's goalkeeper Dacian Gurzău, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Petcu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Julian Sapiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Sliema Youngsters's Kurt Falzon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Gurzău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 47 minutes, Julian Sapiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliema Youngsters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Sapiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Paul Nappa was the one to do the kick off. 1-3 became the score in the 52nd minute when Jean Paul Nappa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joseph Sladden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Vâlcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bodea AS's Emil Tache got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bodea AS fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Bodea AS's Iacob Vâlcu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sliema Youngsters getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Franco Piscopo hit a great ball. Iacob Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Sliema Youngsters's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Vâlcu came free, but Joseph Sladden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Bodea AS's Iacob Vâlcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Sladden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 76thth minute of the game Jean Paul Nappa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bodea AS's Dacian Gurzău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bodea AS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Jean Paul Nappa scored to the left of an out of position Dacian Gurzău, making the score, 3-4. Iacob Vâlcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emil Tache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Paul Nappa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sliema Youngsters walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
