Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Håknäs BF's Leif Helström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joseph Sladden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Olenberg in the 4th minute of play. If Leif Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Harman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean Paul Nappa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Julian Sapiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Harman having to interfere. Leif Helström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Sladden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Einar Olenberg's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Julian Sapiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Håknäs BF's goalkeeper Harry Harman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Sapiano. Isak Hermansson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isak Hermansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Isak Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Einar Olenberg made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Sladden. Sliema Youngsters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Einar Olenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Håknäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Olenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Sladden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Håknäs BF's zone, Julian Sapiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Harman came out of the goal and Julian Sapiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Sapiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Harry Harman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Håknäs BF's Harry Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Paul Nappa in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Olenberg in the 47th minute of play forced Sliema Youngsters's goalkeeper Joseph Sladden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean Paul Nappa to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sliema Youngsters's Jean Paul Nappa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Harman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Håknäs BF's Isak Hermansson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jean Paul Nappa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Harry Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Paul Nappa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Harman saved Håknäs BF from getting behind. A collision led to Håknäs BF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl-Åke Linberg hit a great ball. Håknäs BF's Harry Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Sapiano in the 70th minute of play. Einar Olenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Sladden having to make a save. Michele Testaferrata Viani didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Håknäs BF's Leif Helström got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Jean Paul Nappa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sliema Youngsters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 90 minutes into the game, Sliema Youngsters's Jean Paul Nappa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harry Harman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sliema Youngsters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
