But to his dismay, Ryszard Podolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Eduard Semeghin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Udrişte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Sedzikowski having to interfere. Radowit Sedzikowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 26th minute. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Zdeb in the 28th minute of play. When Aron Zgrăbunţa came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Zgrăbunţa couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Semeghin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Sedzikowski saved Cidry Rojca from getting behind. In the 35th minute of the match ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a corner. Cidry Rojca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remus Cazan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Cazan to fire away a dangerous shot which Radowit Sedzikowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Radowit Sedzikowski was a little too slow when Eduard Semeghin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Ţirpescu in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Cidry Rojca's Radowit Sedzikowski got control of the ball when Aron Zgrăbunţa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olgierd Gierasik's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olgierd Gierasik helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cidry Rojca getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Olgierd Gierasik hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogdan Udrişte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radowit Sedzikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Ţirpescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Eric Ţirpescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Podolski in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Eric Ţirpescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 65th minute of play forced Cidry Rojca's goalkeeper Radowit Sedzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Cidry Rojca's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Stejaru came free, but Radowit Sedzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Sedzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Bogdan Udrişte made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Sedzikowski. Cidry Rojca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mikolaj Golob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rosendo Seguinus made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Cidry Rojca's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Radowit Sedzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Semeghin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Radowit Sedzikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Zgrăbunţa scored 4-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radowit Sedzikowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Cidry Rojca's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Radowit Sedzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cidry Rojca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ASF BAIA MARE -MM-.
