The supporters of Ascacibar-Pérez booed when Al-Torn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Zihler in the 7th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Einar Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hubert Sillén fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Torn's protests and gave Hubert Sillén a yellow card for diving instead. Hubert Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Ragnar Klementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk Schönbein hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Ascacibar-Pérez were awarded a corner. Casimiro Santana went to the cornerflag to take it. Einar Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Zihler, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ascacibar-Pérez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casimiro Santana in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Klementsson in the 39th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Einar Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Al-Torn's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Palermo came free, but Tommy Beck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ascacibar-Pérez's Alonzo Eron got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Einar Holmberg made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Henric Åkesson sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Einar Holmberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Zihler. Hubert Sillén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Marcelino Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einar Holmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragnar Klementsson in the 85th minute. Henric Åkesson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Holmberg. Einar Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 90 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Klementsson came free, but Einar Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Ragnar Klementsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascacibar-Pérez's Einar Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Konstanty Hryc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Einar Holmberg. That made the score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Al-Torn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ascacibar-Pérez.
