After 7 minutes of play, Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Wallmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dag Bäckström made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ermegildo Pacorro would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The AC Trollebo fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when AC Trollebo's Dag Bäckström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Aristides Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dag Bäckström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Ermegildo Pacorro 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Oscar Abascal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ermegildo Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dag Bäckström sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Rayman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Bäckström in the 31st minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Jakub Latocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Trollebo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Latocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Tomás Pasqual got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Gottfrid Lundberg fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Trollebo's protests and gave Gottfrid Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Guido Bautista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Almirante Brown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Bautista was the one to do the kick off.
