Oséas Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Gröhe having to make a save. Luiz Gustavo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tande in the 12th minute of play. Agua Santa's Ernani Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Lucas. Fernando Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tomé Mota made a huge save. Oséas Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Lucas. In the 35th minute Fernando Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Rubinho Severo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tomé Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independente FC. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Giuseppe Queirós hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rubinho Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Fernando Lucas made the kick off in the second half. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lucas in the 58th minute of play. Tomé Mota came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Fernando Lucas. But to his dismay, Fernando Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lucas in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tande in the 65th minute of play. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Giuseppe Queirós got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tande in the 82nd minute of play. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lucas in the 85th minute of play. Independente FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubinho Severo in the 88th minute. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubinho Severo went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Independente FC fully deserved thier win.
