The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Xande Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Saldanha was a little too slow when Xande Chaves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Jerome Rohrer got a free kick in the 11th minute. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Rohrer in the 13th minute of the match. Pan De Wen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Vítor Lenzi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jovens Democratas MZC's Laerte Bittencourt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Xande Chaves, made in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Silas Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Maldini's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Maldini helped the player get up and apologised. Duda Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duda Amorim in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Vítor Arósio saved ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ from getting behind. João Vítor Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Rohrer in the 34th minute of play. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Amorim in the 43rd minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Duda Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Antônio Santos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Antônio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal and Antônio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 56th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Vítor Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. João Vítor Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Duda Amorim came free, but João Vítor Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Lenzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Jerome Rohrer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Laerte Bittencourt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Guedes in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Vítor Lenzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Vítor Arósio. João Vítor Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jerome Rohrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. Duda Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Amorim got free with João Vítor Arósio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Amorim in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Vítor Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ove Ahlström got a free kick in the 96th minute.
