Ariel Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dhritiman Judge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dhritiman Judge in the 14th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Mitchell Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CADU de Zarate defense, Mitchell Godwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Astigar. The CADU de Zarate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Astigar should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Rambo in the 27th minute of play forced CADU de Zarate's goalkeeper Benedicto Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Besim Ceylan made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aaron Rambo. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcin Cebula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedicto Astigar. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. CADU de Zarate's Benedicto Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save CADU de Zarate from getting a goal against them. CADU de Zarate's Benedicto Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 34th minute of play. Ariel Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dhritiman Judge in the 36th minute of play. Besim Ceylan made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Rambo however managed to control. Benedicto Astigar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marcin Cebula sent off a good shot on target. Benedicto Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Cebula in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Marcin Cebula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcin Cebula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mitchell Godwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Ulysses Madureira made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Marcin Cebula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute Clapham Comets F.C. were awarded a corner. Ulysses Madureira went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Aaron Rambo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. CADU de Zarate's Benedicto Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Godwin in the 54th minute of play. Benedicto Astigar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind CADU de Zarate's goalkeeper Benedicto Astigar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Besim Ceylan got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Rambo.
