With a little luck, FC Hamodi's Ingemar Klint got control of the ball when Richie Ason tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Luis Escobar made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Hamodi's Ingemar Klint tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes FC Hamodi got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sjöman. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ola Bergström in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richie Ason got free with Ingemar Klint in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruy Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ingemar Klint was a little too slow when Alfredo Tomasini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, FC Hamodi's goalkeeper Ingemar Klint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Escobar. When Freddie Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hamodi's protests and gave Freddie Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when FC Hamodi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Luis Escobar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingemar Klint. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Luis Escobar made a precise shot to the right of Ingemar Klint. FC Hamodi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Erling Brandt kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Richie Ason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ingemar Klint made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, FC Hamodi's Erling Brandt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Ruy Berger made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Stig Pilberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Nazario Ispuzua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hamodi made a substitution. Nils Arvidsson replaced Freddie Bergqvist. 69 minutes into the match, FC Hamodi's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ason came free, but Ingemar Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Alfredo Tomasini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingemar Klint was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Ingemar Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Ason in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, ALIANZA 1901's Josepe Gamiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingemar Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Ingemar Klint didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Tomasini went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Ingemar Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rojelio Daza might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingemar Klint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rojelio Daza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Richie Ason made a precise shot to the right of Ingemar Klint. FC Hamodi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. After 92 minutes of play, ALIANZA 1901's Josepe Gamiz made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Klint was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ted Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ingemar Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Escobar in the 96th minute of the match. Edgar Ambjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Berger having to interfere. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ALIANZA 1901! When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, FC Hamodi's Eric Bergstedt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruy Berger.
