After 3 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Belo. Tipi Calderon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Teodorowski in the 4th minute of play. Gerrit Hardering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Patriots's goalkeeper Gerrit Hardering, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Club Atletico Los Andes were awarded a corner. Tomáš Lamačka went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Maximino Riells got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerrit Hardering quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 10 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Kim Lekberg. In the 15th minute Robertinho Teodorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Gerrit Hardering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Sahnoyan Şah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tipi Calderon to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Lekberg in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerrit Hardering prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Los Andes were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after New England Patriots's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomáš Lamačka took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tomáš Lamačka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerrit Hardering quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard and well directed shot from Tomáš Lamačka led 27 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. New England Patriots's Gerrit Hardering became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Kim Lekberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerrit Hardering having to make a save. In the 29th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Hardering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kim Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerrit Hardering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Matias Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Kim Lekberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerrit Hardering. New England Patriots's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Lekberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Tipi Calderon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi Castro. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Kim Lekberg sped through New England Patriots's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerrit Hardering. Didi Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tipi Calderon having to interfere. After the first half Club Atletico Los Andes were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kim Lekberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Cao Jian Feng hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Kim Lekberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerrit Hardering having to make a save. Gerrit Hardering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lekberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Tipi Calderon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Paulista in the 56th minute of the match. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. New England Patriots's Gerrit Hardering proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save New England Patriots from getting a goal against them. Tipi Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Teodorowski in the 84th minute of play. The Club Atletico Los Andes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
