The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sportivo O´connor's Antoni Pstrongowski suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 3 minutes into the game, Elvio Ferrer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GERLIROJO Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo O´connor the free kick. The supporters of Sportivo O´connor booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Mele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Jax went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santiago Mele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 9th minute of the match. Juan Morata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Vitin in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, one of Sportivo O´connor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportivo O´connor. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for GERLIROJO Ψ. Martin Jax stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santiago Mele. 0-2. Santiago Mele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Jax's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner. Elvio Ferrer went to the cornerflag to take it. 24 minutes into the game, Martin Jax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Santiago Mele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 姚坤森 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Mele having to interfere. Sportivo O´connor's Santiago Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Jax in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Sportivo O´connor defense, Martin Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Mele. The Sportivo O´connor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Mele should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Martin Jax left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Martin Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half GERLIROJO Ψ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Jax to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sportivo O´connor's goalkeeper Santiago Mele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Jax. Martin Jax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Mele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Sportivo O´connor got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Maurin. After a rather tough play, Sportivo O´connor's Teobaldo Normando got a free kick in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Martin Jax took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Santiago Mele to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Santiago Mele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Epifanio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Ibañez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Mele saved Sportivo O´connor from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Ibañez in the 78th minute of play forced Sportivo O´connor's goalkeeper Santiago Mele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Epifanio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Mele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Epifanio Ibañez made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Mele. Sportivo O´connor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. 84 minutes into the match, Epifanio Ibañez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Mele, 0-8. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 played minutes Epifanio Ibañez rounded Sportivo O´connor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. GERLIROJO Ψ played a much better game than Sportivo O´connor and deserved their victory. The Sportivo O´connor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
