Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Sikström. Patrik Sikström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Seterma Tractors's zone, Deilmison van Basten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Sikström came out of the goal and Deilmison van Basten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deilmison van Basten in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Sikström saved Seterma Tractors from getting behind. ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Seterma Tractors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robin van Persie took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Vilhelm Skoog to score against Patrik Sikström in Seterma Tractors's goal. 0-2 after 25 minutes. 32 minutes into the game, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Sikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 36th minute of play. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Sikström. Patrik Sikström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deilmison van Basten made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Deilmison van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deilmison van Basten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 minutes of play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Sikström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Sikström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deilmison van Basten got free with Patrik Sikström in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Ademir Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alessandro Paolucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match, Vitor Beckenbauer sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Patrik Sikström showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. The ATHLETICO PRaiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ATHLETICO PRaiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
