Eliseu Alagoano started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Édouard Mendy was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lisandro Tomi. Narciso Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. Fabrício Brunovskis charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Brunovskis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Brunovskis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Matorin in the 14th minute of play forced ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Narciso Tano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Célio Albuquerque. Lisandro Tomi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Maicon Zanette hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Saverio Ladio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Édouard Mendy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Tano got free with Édouard Mendy in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Saverio Ladio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Édouard Mendy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gavino Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gavino Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Matorin in the 55th minute of play forced ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Diego Mederi put in a rough tackle. A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Diego Mederi hit a great ball. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Jonathan Cresencio was substituted for Lisandro Tomi. Diego Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Amadeu Furlan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gavino Orlan. The goal made the score 0-3. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Soares in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s zone, Ciro Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal and Ciro Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Saverio Ladio got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute Faustino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Perrando hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Tano in the 88th minute of play. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ from getting a goal against them. Rômulo Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Al-Fajuth left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★.
