The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gláuber Brodel was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Vincent in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Brodel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eulalio Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Hélder Velasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Belasko, 2-1. In the 28th minute, Ronaldinho Meira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrique Belasko, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Enrique Belasko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Siro Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Siro Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Soeiro in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Grau. Enrique Belasko was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Ronaldinho Meira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldinho Meira really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Vincent was the one to do the kick off. Jorge Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Belasko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Velasco's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gláuber Brodel was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ronaldinho Meira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Jose Tiso replaced Maximo Cutberto. Enrique Belasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Enrique Belasko had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Toninho Grau's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 72nd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Michael in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Toninho Grau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Belasko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Penha during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elói Penha hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Meira notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko. Enrique Belasko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Casimiro Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Ronaldinho Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morro Grande E.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
