The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Tales Gonçalves threw the ball into play from the sideline. PREZULO FC's Shi Xi Zhen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 6thth minute of the game Marquinhos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tales Gonçalves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Marquinhos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Santos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi. Andres Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Hori. Marcos Prado made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Reinaldo Palmeira however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Santos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Santos came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Albano Jaunzuria hit a great ball. Tales Gonçalves hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tales Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Santos in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PREZULO FC's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Quadros came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Marquinhos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the PREZULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Santos couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. PREZULO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reinaldo Palmeira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Andres Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the PREZULO FC defense, Eusebio Hori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas Quadros. The PREZULO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas Quadros should have stopped the shot. Samuel Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Andres Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Marquinhos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Quadros having to interfere. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ferreira in the 76th minute of play. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Hori in the 79th minute of play. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Ferreira in the 81st minute of the match. Marquinhos Santos in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andres Ekhi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isaac Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho was substituted for Eusebio Hori. Marquinhos Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andres Ekhi came out and tried to block the shot, but Marquinhos Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded PREZULO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ricart Futebol Clube.
