Fjugesta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BlueLionesse the free kick. After 8 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Mailat. Joel Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Andrei Azamfirei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fjugesta's Isac Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Pânzaru in the 17th minute of play. Andrei Azamfirei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Mattsson in the 23rd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Azamfirei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match Fjugesta got a corner. BlueLionesse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ture Dahlbom ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Kurt Bennet heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mădălin Botgros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isac Andberg. Fjugesta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fjugesta's attentive Florencio Urbasa managed to snatch the ball when Augustin Ştefănuţ made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Greblă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrei Azamfirei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Wiman's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Isac Andberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Isărescu in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fjugesta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mădălin Botgros was slow to take the kick. During this time BlueLionesse's players had a chance to rest. Mădălin Botgros made a great header on BlueLionesse's corner, it was just that Fjugesta's Isac Andberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Fjugesta's Florencio Urbasa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Augustin Ştefănuţ, made in the 68th minute of the game. BlueLionesse's Andrei Azamfirei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Wiman in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Wiman in the 71st minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Andrei Azamfirei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BlueLionesse's zone, Kurt Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Azamfirei came out of the goal and Kurt Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Urbasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Wiman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Andrei Azamfirei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fjugesta. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Fjugesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wiman came free, but Andrei Azamfirei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, BlueLionesse's Alex Murgoci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Sebastian Mailat hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
