A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 20th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match VB-Team got a corner. Despidida AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Braga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luís Braga shot a long shot in the 25th minute and a light blocked Fernando Selatse hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Luís Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Oliver Rizzo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Toro Martínez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Matias. Toro Martínez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Baltasar Matias was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Toro Martínez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toro Martínez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 47th minute of the match, Toro Martínez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltasar Matias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Toro Martínez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Matias came out of the goal and Toro Martínez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Szymon Pyrzyce replaced Arturo Arano. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Joaquim de Barros sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Justino Elequemedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despidida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Braga got free with Fernando Selatse in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Fernando Selatse managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when VB-Team's Luís Braga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Gervásio Severiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Luís Braga took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Fernando Selatse to make any attempt to save it. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 91st minute of play. After 93rd play minutes Gervásio Severiano shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Fernando Selatse and just under the crossbar into goal. The Despidida AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VB-Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
