In the 24th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, David Elodio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Armani. David Elodio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 34th minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s David Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Natalio Mazuste in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Henning Fink. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Jaen got free with Andriy Lunin in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Jaen. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin got control of the ball when Cosme Jaen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Iordanis Karatzaferis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Karatzaferis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
