After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Kris Noander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Alessandro Micucci notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark. Orla Haxmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when David Herstad came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Emmanuel Dennis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Dennis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Alessandro Micucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orla Haxmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Noander in the 27th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Noander, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Alessandro Micucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Micucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark got control of the ball when Emmanuel Dennis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Adib Ovi sped through Vykans Vikingar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Orla Haxmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Micucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Adib Ovi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Gettrup SIK from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kris Noander was the one to do the kick off. Martin Mutumba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Herstad in the 63rd minute of play. Orla Haxmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mutumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Kris Noander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Kris Noander put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus Ekrot. 78 minutes into the game, Alessandro Micucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vykans Vikingar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gettrup SIK the free kick. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alessandro Micucci hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål was substituted for Emmanuel Dennis. Gettrup SIK made a substitution. Esben Dyrking replaced Kris Noander. Orla Haxmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gettrup SIK's Orla Haxmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Stål in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Franz Ringsager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gettrup SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
