Moises Garci hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Pereyra came free, but Ragnar Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AIF's Ragnar Wallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. Domingo Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Chaime got free with Ragnar Wallander in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klas Njurenius kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ismael Haritzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Sandström in the 77th minute. Apolo Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Karl-Ove Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Ove Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Haritzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Karl-Ove Ahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Ahlbom couldn't finish the play.
