The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Fausto Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruy Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Viña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gadiel Gadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristiano Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Rincón kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gadiel Gadov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With his leg 김 담 managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Sidney Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano De Bruyne was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Leão de Judá got a corner. New Loser FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesinha Pitta ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 57th minute, Bernardinho de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano De Bruyne in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 김 담 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. New Loser FC's 김 담 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano De Bruyne in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Sidney Botelho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Botelho. Cesinha Pitta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 김 담 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano De Bruyne's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Gadiel Gadov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruy Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 94 minute of play. The New Loser FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Loser FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
