When Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Ronaldão Munhoz got a free kick in the 44th minute. Tomasz Waldoch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diguinho da Mata. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Alcântara made a kick off. Diguinho da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Mutu in the 51st minute of the match. Adrian Mutu might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diguinho da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Mutu ran back to his position shaking his head. Diguinho da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Braga Junior FC booed when Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Niedermeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Niedermeier. The Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Braga Junior FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mutu in the 87th minute of play forced Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Diguinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Mutu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 87th match minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Santana to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho da Mata saved Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting behind. The throw-in from Otávio Niedermeier in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Braga Junior FC's Cristiano Håland. In the 94th minute Enginalp Kayaalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mutu in the 96th minute of play forced Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Diguinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Braga Junior FC had won after a very even match.
