Naldo Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fausto Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Gröhe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the final whistle sounded Scarlet Speedster left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arsenal de Gols F.C.
