Thorbjörn Hong hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. NAGANO F.C were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Enhebrator FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pertti Koskenkorva took the corner. The corner ended in Pertti Koskenkorva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer did a great save. Jaroslaw Pacholewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vellito Alguerdo made a huge save. After some careless play in the Enhebrator FC defense, Jari Alenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Baumer. The Enhebrator FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Baumer should have stopped the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Bernard Janiczek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enhebrator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Janiczek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Baumer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in NAGANO F.C's zone, Bernard Janiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vellito Alguerdo came out of the goal and Bernard Janiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Janiczek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vellito Alguerdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of NAGANO F.C booed when Enhebrator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. NAGANO F.C's Thorbjörn Hong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Veron, made in the 45th minute of the game. If Jari Alenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Alenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jaroslaw Pacholewski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enhebrator FC's protests and gave Jaroslaw Pacholewski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Enhebrator FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jaroslaw Pacholewski hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jari Alenius made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Jari Alenius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NAGANO F.C and the Enhebrator FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Enhebrator FC booed when NAGANO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jari Alenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Bernard Janiczek notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo. Vellito Alguerdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enhebrator FC made a substitution. Dries van Veldhuizen replaced Bernard Janiczek. Vellito Alguerdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dries van Veldhuizen in the 74th minute of play. NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Jari Alenius. In the 79th minute of the game Gürol Demirer made a throw-in which Salvador Procopio played forward. It was a well-played corner which Marquez Jimenez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 90 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Batistuta. 93 minutes into the match, Dries van Veldhuizen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vellito Alguerdo. NAGANO F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dries van Veldhuizen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Vellito Alguerdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dries van Veldhuizen in the 96th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
