The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Ek got free with Otávio Penha in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otávio Penha was a little too slow when Harald Ek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 9 minutes, Timoteo Columbo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Icoara Football Club's Otávio Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Timoteo Columbo sped through Icoara Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otávio Penha. 14 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Otávio Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Columbo. Harald Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Icoara Football Club's Otávio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Icoara Football Club from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otávio Penha. Otávio Penha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Otávio Penha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Jacobo Galoer got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Harald Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Penha came out of the goal and Harald Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Columbo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Otávio Penha made a huge save. Icoara Football Club's Otávio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Icoara Football Club from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Columbo made a kick off. Otávio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 52nd minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Otávio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Timoteo Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Academia 1903 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Columbo couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Columbo scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otávio Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Nicanor Morenø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Penha. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Penha should have stopped the shot. Otávio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Morenø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Morenø went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 75thth minute of the game Nicanor Morenø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icoara Football Club's Otávio Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Nicanor Morenø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Penha. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Penha should have stopped the shot. The Academia 1903 fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the game, Nicanor Morenø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Otávio Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Morenø took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Penha. Otávio Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. 92 minutes into the game, Nicanor Morenø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Otávio Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremias Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Nicanor Morenø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. When the referee ended the match the Academia 1903 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
