Arjen Holsmuller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Young Benefica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Jokin took the corner. The corner led Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Aaron Jokin to fire away a dangerous shot which Arjen Holsmuller despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 41st minute Pedro Ochoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arjen Holsmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Arjen Holsmuller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Rauno Rank. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Wielgopolski in the 49th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Generoso Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Wielgopolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 61 minutes, Ke Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ke Xun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Bengt-Arne Åberg was substituted for Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aaron Jokin in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Hanot. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Leon Trotskiy was substituted for Iker Eneko. In the 71st minute, Segundo Hanot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Young Benefica's goalkeeper Arjen Holsmuller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 81 in the game by Bengt-Arne Åberg from a close distance when the talented Arjen Holsmuller managed to make a qualified save. Young Benefica's players were relieved. Arjen Holsmuller had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Bengt-Arne Åberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 87th minute of the match, Pedro Ochoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arjen Holsmuller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ke Xun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arjen Holsmuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Wielgopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Åberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Arjen Holsmuller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arjen Holsmuller was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bengt-Arne Åberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
