Спартак's Aleksandr Sibirev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Thielmann in the 8th minute of play. SV Rotthausen 1912 were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Спартак's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurențiu Ignea took the corner. Alvaro De Michele's late challenge caught a SV Rotthausen 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an all-out effort, SV Rotthausen 1912's Aleksandr Sibirev threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernst Thielmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aleksandr Sibirev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Thielmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Aleksandr Sibirev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Thielmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Briano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Victor Winkels struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Aleksandr Sibirev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Rotthausen 1912. Aleksandr Sibirev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Winkels's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Harbans Toor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghazi Al Herz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Aleksandr Sibirev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laurențiu Ignea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahib Şamilov got free with Aleksandr Sibirev in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aleksandr Sibirev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Thielmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match Спартак got a corner. SV Rotthausen 1912's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro De Michele ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Спартак's corner Alvaro De Michele fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Szymon Puszynski quite easily take care of the ball. Спартак's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ernst Thielmann 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Спартак made a substitution. Armin Mustakivi replaced Timur Babaskin. Ernst Thielmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Sibirev having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Szymon Puszynski. Szymon Puszynski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 57thth minute of the game Ernst Thielmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Спартак's Aleksandr Sibirev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ernst Thielmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Thielmann in the 61st minute of play forced Спартак's goalkeeper Aleksandr Sibirev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksandr Sibirev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Thielmann in the 66th minute of play. SV Rotthausen 1912's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laurențiu Ignea in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Harbans Toor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Sibirev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Victor Winkels made a precise shot to the right of Aleksandr Sibirev. Спартак's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. SV Rotthausen 1912's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Thielmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
