Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastian Pennington took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tobias Bruyninckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmy Yeats went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Abilene FC's Sebastian Pennington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Bruyninckx. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Sainte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Pennington was slow to take the kick. During this time Abilene FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jack Cabourne managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 18 minutes into the match, Sebastian Pennington dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobias Bruyninckx, 3-0. A collision led to Abilene FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Neil Ruff hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jack Costello sped through FC Sainte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Bruyninckx. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wes Van Gestelt during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Sainte getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Wes Van Gestelt hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Abilene FC were awarded a corner. Sebastian Pennington went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Pennington got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tobias Bruyninckx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tobias Bruyninckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Pennington went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Sebastian Pennington took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Bruyninckx. Tobias Bruyninckx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Jack Costello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tobias Bruyninckx was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Louis Haemers made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Berten Roeckeloes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Sebastian Pennington shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Bruyninckx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Jack Costello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Bruyninckx. FC Sainte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Costello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Sebastian Pennington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bruyninckx having to interfere. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Sebastian Pennington sped through FC Sainte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Bruyninckx. Neil Ruff's late challenge caught a FC Sainte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neil Ruff helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Sainte booed when Abilene FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Ruff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sebastian Pennington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abilene FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Pennington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Bruyninckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Berten Roeckeloes fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sainte's protests and gave Berten Roeckeloes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Abilene FC booed when FC Sainte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berten Roeckeloes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abilene FC's Jack Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, FC Sainte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Van Gestelt to maneuver through the defense. FC Sainte's Tobias Bruyninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Yeats in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Louis Haemers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Sainte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Haemers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Bruyninckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Pennington in the 95th minute of play.
