An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Salvadore in the 31st minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, The Arquitect's Baltasar Birila got control of the ball when Iacob Antohi tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Lutanu's Philip Aelgoet got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, George Greblă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lutanu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If George Greblă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Aelgoet, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Arquitect's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iosif Achiriloaie was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lutanu's players had a chance to rest. Baltasar Birila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Baltasar Birila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 69 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Sayveon. Remus Talianu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Braulio Sayveon sent off a good shot on target. Baltasar Birila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the FC Lutanu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
