Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mustafa Hamit Kutlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Agachi in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Trabzon booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Teodoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Săvulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Szymon Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalju Kaber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bogdan Lobonț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Ciomag went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Agachi in the 34th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Kutlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Sokol in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Szymon Sokol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trabzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C CLUJ MEDICINA the free kick. After 44 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Sokol. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Săvulescu in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Trabzon's Kalju Kaber made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Lobonț was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Szymon Sokol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalju Kaber in the 56th minute of play. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Agachi in the 60th minute of the match. Orhan Veli Çetinay charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orhan Veli Çetinay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Veli Çetinay. In the 67th minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Alexandru Săvulescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 70th minute, Mihai Nițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalju Kaber in the 71st minute of play. Narcis Agachi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Săvulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Narcis Agachi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mustafa Hamit Kutlu. That made the score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Hidayet İlsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Săvulescu came free, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
